About Us

We are building and automating our internal accountancy system to streamline operations and improve efficiency. We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our team and take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications with modern technologies.


Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain web applications for our internal accountancy automation system.

  • Develop intuitive, responsive, and performant user interfaces with React.js and TypeScript.

  • Build scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js (Express or similar frameworks).

  • Integrate with databases, third-party services, and internal tools.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.

  • Ensure application security, performance, and reliability.


Requirements

  • Strong experience with React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and/or GraphQL.

  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of software development best practices: testing, CI/CD, version control (Git).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Experience in building or automating financial/accountancy-related systems is a big plus.

  • Must be based in the UK. Sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.


Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with accounting principles or ERP systems.

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Background in automation of workflows and business processes.
